Writing Apps
For years, I’ve bounced between writing apps, searching for the perfect fit. I started with Ulysses in 2016, later trying iA Writer before returning to Ulysses. While I appreciate iA Writer’s minimalist approach, its rigid structure, and limited font options never clicked for me.
Recently, I’ve been writing in Drafts. After several months of doing so, I’ve concluded that it’s not that great for writing. As a capture tool, it’s exceptional. Which brings me back to Ulysses for my writing. With my Ulysses subscription renewal approaching, I’ve decided to renew it. Yesterday I moved all my writing back into Ulysses from Drafts.
