The Tour de France
I’ve been enjoying watching the Tour this year. I thought stage 9 was an entertaining stage to watch. It shook things up with a hilly 199km route featuring 32km of gravel sectors. This divided opinions amongst teams and riders. Some saw it as a test of well-rounded riders on varied terrain, while others argued the risk of punctures on gravel left too much to chance for the General Classification rider. I loved the gravel sections and it made for great TV watching.
I love bike racing! It used to be a big part of my life. I stopped racing in 2010 for heart health reasons. I miss it!
