Highlighting Headache: Mac Fails

Hey friends, this morning, I was cleaning up my Drafts inbox on my M1 MacBook Air and sent a couple of items over to GoodLinks. I had a few passages in one of the articles that I wanted to highlight—easy enough, right?

I knew exactly what I wanted to highlight, so I didn't need to re-read the entire article. All I needed was to find the passages and mark them. Naturally, I used the search function in GoodLinks. But here’s where things went sideways: while the Mac's search did find the article with the passage, it didn't take me to the passage itself. I had to scroll and hunt for it manually.

Annoyed, I picked up my iPad, searched the same article for the same passage, and boom—right there, highlighted and ready to go.

So, I guess there are things the iPad can do that the Mac can’t.
